1. Sweater Vests

Sweater vests became very trendy last year and it is not going anywhere any time soon! I love the sweater vest trend because although I did not start wearing them until they became trendy, I will definitely be keeping them as a staple in my closet. Even when they’re not trendy anymore, I think they will always look fashionable. One of my favorite things about sweater vests is that you can wear them all year long. You can wear them on their own in the Spring/Summer and layer them in the Fall/Winter. They are also the perfect fashion piece for looking stylish at the office!

2. All Things Leather

Leather Pants

I am obsessed with the leather pants trend! I think leather pants have always been considered a good staple to have in every woman’s wardrobe. This year especially, leather trousers are trending. That means a wide leg and relaxed fit. I still like the skinny and straight leg fits depending on my outfit. So, I linked a bunch of different options!

Long Leather Coats

Another leather trend! Leather coats are coming back in hot for this Fall and Winter. Just like the leather pants, they have always been a staple to have in your closet. Just like last year, long leather trench coats are going to be a big trend this year. I love trends like this that are wearable for everyday use and will always make you look stylish.

3. Chunky Shoes

So there are two different chunky shoes that are very trendy this Fall and Winter. Chunky Chelsea boots and chunky platform loafers. These are two more items that I think are always going to be fashionable even when not trendy anymore. Honestly, even though they are currently trending, I have always seen Chelsea boots and loafers everywhere. But this year the chunkier the shoe, the better!

I love that chunky boots are trendy right now. I’ve always loved Chelsea boots and the chunky heels are so cute! And I am loving this new chunky style even more.  

Chunky Platform Loafers

I’ll be honest, I have never really been a fan of loafers. They are not exactly my style. But these chunky platform-style loafers, like I linked below, are really growing on me! I might need to buy a pair and style a few outfits with it to give it a fair chance.

4. Saturated Shades

This trend is interesting to me and I haven’t seen too many people talk about it! Well, maybe it’s only interesting to me because the minute the temperature drops 1 degree I’m breaking out all of my neutral shades! This new saturated shades trend is all about being bold and bright this Winter. 

5. Shackets

Shackets have been around for Fall and Winter for years and they are going to continue to be around! Shackets are a great transition piece between Summer and Fall and they are heavy enough to be layered and worn in the Winter. They are super cute and can elevate any casual outfit. You can basically find them in every retail store and they come in every pattern, color, texture, material, etc. you can think of. My favorite shackets are the plaids. Nothing is better than a cute plaid piece for Fall and Winter.
