Hello ladies! Today on the blog, I’m sharing my 5 Simple No Sew Alterations tricks! If you’re here, it’s because having your clothes professionally tailored can be such a hassle sometimes. It gets too expensive, it takes time, and sometimes it can be hard finding a good tailor that you trust. If you have any clothes that need tailoring and need some quick and easy solutions, then this post is for you!

2. Bobby pins

Bobby pins are perfect for a temporary and quick hem when you’re in a pinch. Another excellent use for them is to fasten your top or dress if the cut is a little too low.

 

1. Button replacements

If your pants are a little too loose, or even if you lose the button on your pants. Amazon sells these button replacements that you pin on your pants for a quick and easy no-sew alteration!

 

3. Hem tape

Hem tape is a great no-sew option to hem your skirts, dress, and pants. It might take a little practice at first, but once you get it down, you’re good to go!

 

4. Fabric glue

If you’re not in a rush but are looking for an easy fix, fabric glue will do the trick! It’s also great for fixing things like broken buttons and or hardware. And perfect for adding embellishments like patches, rhinestone, etc.

 

5. Hair tie

 I know all of you ladies have a bunch of hair ties lying around your place! There are multiple uses you can use with a hair tie. If your shirt is too long you can use it to tie a knot at the bottom of your shirt and tuck into your bottoms. If your sleeves are too long you can use them to hold up your sleeves to roll them. You can use them to tighten the bottoms of your pants to tuck into your boots. Th possibilities are endless!
